It was a great weekend with my son, his wife and our beautiful granddaughter. I can't tell you how wonderful it was to be invited on their family trip. We really had a great time. It meant the world to me to be included!

Week 20
It was a great weekend with my son, his wife and our beautiful granddaughter. I can't tell you how wonderful it was to be invited on their family trip. We really had a great time. It meant the world to me to be included!
Week 21
I took my Mom to Brooklyn to see my son. He was the best tour guide ever. He took us all over and tried to minimize the walking so my Mom would get too tired. It was so nice of him to spend the whole day with us. That's what it's all about......family!

Week 19
Well, this was a horrendous week, from the Boston bombings, the West, TX fire/explosion, and then the earthquake in China. But the one thing that has been a constant in all of these terrible tragedies, is the kindness of strangers. It makes me feel so hopeful for the future and especially my granddaughter's future. My thoughts and prayers go out to all the people affected one way or another by these tragedies. Hopefully some day their lives will go back to some sort of normalcy, but for now, I hope they can rely on their faith or at least their renewed faith in human kindness and not the ugliness that exists out there.
